The Booklore team

  • Séverine

Aspiring author, lifelong student and nomadic soul. To put it in a nutshell, I would best describe myself as a bohemian writer and as a lover of any books that quench my wanderlust. Needless to say, working amongst books and with other booklovers seemed like a stepping stone to more aesthetic meanderings.

  • Giulia

Italian, former medical humanitarian worker who moved to Marrakech for love. I’m passionate about poetry, story-telling and all arts which soothe the soul. Dedicated to female empowerment, social justice and inclusion. Blessed with a sense of humour, addicted to coffee.

  • Maroua

Linguistics graduate fascinated by how language shapes our thoughts and perceptions. I see books as doors to new perspectives, offering endless insights into the world around us. Booklore has given me the chance to broaden my perspectives, offering a diverse range of voices and stories that deepen my understanding of the world.

  • Ibtissam

Curiosity didn't just kill the cat, it led me to Booklore where every shelf is a new adventure. With a background in management and a passion for discovering the unexpected, I love connecting people with stories that inspire, challenge and entertain. Whether it's a book or a big idea, I believe the right one can change everything.

  • Brittany

With over a decade of experience, I'm a passionate advocate for music education, play-based learning, and the intersection of culture and music, bringing creativity and innovation to my work as an educator and musician. After graduation at the University of South Carolina with a degree in music education and a certificate in voice performance, I'm constantly seeking new ways to engage and inspire my students. This passion extends to my role managing global music programs with Broadway for Arts Education, where I expand access to musical opportunities for students in India, Haiti, the Galapagos Islands, and the United States. Now based in Marrakesh, Morocco, I continue to teach and perform, integrating my international experiences and understanding of music's cross-cultural power into both my teaching and program development.
